I am a journalist specialising in the digital media industry. I'm Swedish, but have also lived in the UK and US for a total of 25 years.
As CMO of United Robots, my responsibility to generate leads for our company starts with educating the news media industry about the power of automated journalism, how it can be used strategically to improve news publishers' journalism and business. As of 2021, we're the only company in the world providing automated content specifically for journalistic newsrooms. That means our marketing team are creating our own benchmarks for best practice and success. We're on a very exciting journey.
Prior to working at United Robots, I spent 20 years as an author and consultant for WAN-IFRA World Association of News Publishers. My particular focus was on the digital subscription business within news publishing. I worked in the core team of WAN-IFRA's executive programmes on digital revenues from inception in 2006 to 2019, where I set up and participated in hundreds of hours of meetings with publishers around the world, discussing reader revenues. I have written as many pages of reports on the topic.
